Boost Your memory with Yoga Practices

Most of us know that regular Yoga practice is good for our overall health, but what you may not know is that your regular Yoga Sessions – be it Live Yoga Sessions or Online Yoga sessions –  is also great for our memory. Do you remember what you had for lunch yesterday? What about two days ago? Chances are, if you’re like most people, your memory isn’t as sharp as it used to be. Aging or chronic stress can do that to a person. But did you know that there are ways to improve your memory, and one of them is through Yoga? In fact, a growing body of research suggests that Yoga practices may be one of the best exercises for improving memory and preventing cognitive decline as we age. Check out the following link on how much science is backing Yoga especially in improving memory.

Studies show that both physical and mental exercises are important to brain health- and yoga is an opportunity to do both at the same time.

I recommend that your Yoga practice involve physical moves called Yoga asanas, one pointed concentration practices – also called Mindfulness– , chanting, Prana Yama practices  and Meditation for the best outcomes.

You are never too old to start Yoga practices. So why not commence your Yoga journey with Sanatana Yoga Academy. If you want to discuss more on Beginners Yoga, Seniors Yoga or Advanced Yoga Practices visit us on www.sanatanayoga.com.au or email Narendra at  sanatanayogaacademy@gmail.com
